The inside width of the channel is 3-1/16″. Bracket material is High Strength/Low Alloy ASTM A572 Grade 50. There are 6 sets of holes allowing for 5 positions. Bracket is welded to a 2″ sq x 1/4″ thick wall x 9-1/2″ long tube with 2 sets of receiver pin holes. Tubing is high quality ASTM A500 with a minimum tensile strength of 58,000 PSI and 23% elongation. The maximum height adjustment of the VS 503 VS505 combination is 9-1/2″ as measured from the center of the receiver tube to the center of the Lock N Roll coupling shaft on your trailer. The horizontal distances from the 5/8″ receiver pin holes to the center of the coupling shaft are 14-1/4 and 16-1/4.
